Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and KV EDU for using Kevyn AI. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Kevyn AI.

1. Who we are

Kevyn AI is operated by KV EDU (케이브이에듀), a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea (registration no. 764-93-01783) and owned by Lee Han Geel (이한길), known as Kevyn Lee, at 2F, 59-6 Nonhyeon-ro 175-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. When you use Kevyn AI, your agreement for the service is with KV EDU. In these terms, “we,” “us” and “KV EDU” mean that business, and “you” means the person using the site.

2. The service

Kevyn AI is an online practice platform for the Reading and Writing section of the Digital SAT. It includes a question bank, vocabulary study, progress records, full-length practice tests and an AI coach. Some features are free; others require a paid plan or an access code. Features marked “In development” are not yet available.

We improve the service continually, so features, question sets and limits may change. When a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you before it takes effect.

3. Accounts and age

• You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
• If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms for you, and they are responsible for your use of Kevyn AI.
• Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
• An account is for one person. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us at support@kevynai.com if you think someone else has used your account.

4. Plans and billing

Kevyn AI has a free plan and paid monthly plans. Current prices are shown on the home page in US dollars; checkout may also show them in your local currency.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. It processes payments, invoices, sales tax and refunds, and Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. The charge appears on your statement as “DODOPAY” or “Dodo Payments.”

• Paid plans renew automatically every month until you cancel. You are charged at the start of each billing period.
• Taxes: any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live is calculated by Dodo Payments and shown at checkout before you pay.
• You can cancel at any time, in the Dodo Payments customer portal linked from your Kevyn AI account, or by emailing us. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds: you can get a full refund within 14 days of the first payment of your subscription, for any reason. Renewal payments are refunded in the cases set out in our Refund Policy and wherever the law requires. We issue refunds through Dodo Payments.
• If we change the price of a plan, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
• If someone else pays for your plan, such as a parent, the plan belongs to your account.

5. Access codes

Students in a KV EDU course may receive an access code. A code grants the plan and the period it states, is for the person it was given to, and may not be sold or shared. Fees for KV EDU courses are governed by the terms of that course, not by these terms.

While you use Kevyn AI as a student in a KV EDU course, your KV EDU teacher can see your study record. That record includes your answers, the time you spend on Kevyn AI each day and your conversations with the AI coach, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your teacher decides whether to share it with you or with your parents.

6. Using Kevyn AI fairly

You agree not to:

• copy, download in bulk, scrape, republish or redistribute questions, passages, explanations, directions pages, vocabulary entries or any other content;
• use the content to train, build or operate a competing product or service;
• share your account, or let others use your plan;
• get around usage limits, the locked-down conditions of a full-length test, or any security measure;
• use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service;
• reverse engineer the service, or try to extract the instructions that drive the AI coach;
• upload malicious code, probe or test the security of the service, or interfere with how it runs;
• commit fraud, send spam, or pay with a payment method you are not authorized to use;
• infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
• use Kevyn AI to harass anyone, or to break the law.

7. The AI coach

Kevyn AI’s coach is powered by an AI model. It is designed to make you reason rather than to hand you answers, and it can still make mistakes. Check what it says against the passage before you rely on it, and treat it as practice guidance for the SAT, not as an authority. It does not give professional advice of any kind, such as admissions, legal, medical or financial advice.

Kevyn AI does not make decisions about you. The coach gives study feedback to you, and your practice scores are counted from your answers against the answer key, not judged by AI.

If you are a student in a KV EDU course, your KV EDU teacher can ask Kevyn AI to read the explanations you gave the coach and to write an assessment of them, scored against your teacher’s rubric. That assessment is study feedback for your teacher to read and check, not a practice score. Any decision about your course is made by your teacher, not by AI.

You are responsible for what you write to the coach, for having the right to share it, and for how you use the coach’s replies. When you use the coach, you agree not to:

• ask it for, or send it, anything illegal, sexual, hateful, threatening or harassing;
• share another person’s personal information, or impersonate a real person;
• use it to deceive anyone, or to write malicious code;
• try to make it ignore its instructions or its safety rules.

We may review messages to keep the coach safe and working, and we may limit, pause or remove access to the coach for anyone who breaks these rules.

What you write to the coach is processed by our AI provider to produce a reply, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Please do not share sensitive personal information in your messages. The coach’s replies are yours to use for your own study, under the same permission as the rest of Kevyn AI (section 8).

8. Our content and yours

The questions, passages, explanations, directions pages, vocabulary entries, design and software of Kevyn AI belong to KV EDU and Kevyn Lee and are protected by copyright and other laws. Kevyn AI™, SAT · The Standard™ and KV EDU™ are trademarks of KV EDU. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use the service for your own study, and nothing more.

The sentences, answers and messages you write remain yours. You allow us to store and process them to provide the service to you, to keep your records, and to improve Kevyn AI. We do not sell them.

Copyright complaints. If you believe something on Kevyn AI infringes your copyright or other rights, email support@kevynai.com with the material, where it appears, and the right you hold. We will review it promptly and remove material that infringes, and we may close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe others’ rights.

9. The SAT and your score

SAT® is a trademark registered by the College Board, which is not affiliated with, and does not endorse, this product. Kevyn AI is not an official College Board product.

Scores shown in Kevyn AI are conversions of your practice results. They are not predictions of, or guarantees about, your score on the real test.

10. Warranties and liability

We work hard to keep Kevyn AI accurate and available, but we provide it “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses greater than the amount paid for your Kevyn AI plan in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that the consumer law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded by agreement, or our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

11. Suspension and closing

You can stop using Kevyn AI at any time and ask us to delete your account. If you have a paid plan, deleting your account also cancels it. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, that is not paid for, that puts the security of the service or of other users at risk, that is used for fraud, or where the law requires it. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to respond. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the payment for your current period.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Kevyn AI after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be heard by the Seoul Central District Court, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
